Guided by Catholic values and the spirit of collaboration among religious congregations, Marian Woods provides a loving home where Sisters may continue lives of prayer, community, and spiritual fulfillment while receiving the care and support they need.
From these conversations emerged a unique collaboration among five founding congregations:

In 2023, Marian Woods formally joined The Carmelite System under the sponsorship of the Carmelite Sisters of the Aged and Infirm.
The Carmelite System brings decades of experience in serving older adults with dignity, hospitality, compassion, and respect, helping ensure Marian Woods remains a strong and sustainable home for women religious for generations to come.
The Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm are consecrated religious in the Catholic Church. They are members of a congregation founded by Venerable Mary Angeline Teresa McCrory, O.Carm, dedicated to the service and care of the Aged and Infirm. The legacy of Mother Angeline involves a profound respect for the dignity of each resident and the desire to render quality care in a homelike environment. The mission of the Carmelite Sisters is summed up in four core values – Sanctity of Life, Hospitality, Compassion and Shared Commitment.
