A Letter from our Executive Director

Dear Friends,

Welcome Marian Woods!  Thank you for taking a few minutes to learn about who we are and how we can connect.  

As you read about the history of Marian Woods; a New York State licensed Adult Care Facility, you will learn of the creative endeavor of five religious communities to create a safe, nurturing and caring home for their senior Sisters. 

Our extraordinary Sisters share their spirituality, the special history and charism of their different congregations and the many stories from their years of service in the United States and throughout the world.  While their travels may have slowed, the Sisters and staff are constantly discovering new and creative ways to continue to serve others.

Above all, the Sisters welcome the gift of time to immerse themselves in reflection and prayer.  During our daily masses, benefactors and those who support Marian Woods are remembered as are the needs of our sisters and brothers throughout the world. As they gather for prayer, the Sisters faithfully read the requests that have been sent to us and listed in the Book of Intentions at the entrance to the chapel.  If you have someone whom you would like the Sisters to pray for, please click here.

We hope you will join us for future events, in prayer if you are at a distance, and if possible, in supporting these Sisters who have given their lives in service and support of others.
